CRY Houston presents 5K Walk event to benefit kids fighting for their basic rights every day. Join us and help make this event a grand success and in turn change the lives of under-privileged children one step at a time! Check our Facebook page for additional information.
EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Walk will start at 9:00 am at Lost Creek Park, Sugarland. For Directions please click here: http://g.co/maps/g9z88
Onsite registration and packet pickup from 7:30 am
REGISTRATION:
Adults – $15; Students – $10; Couples – $25; Family of 4 - $45
Children under 7 years walk for free
Donations of $100 or more are eligible for up to six free registrants.
EVENT TIMELINE :
Registration opens - 8:30 AM
Yoga Class – 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Walk Starts – 9:00 AM
Cricket Starts – 10:00 AM
Speech by Dr. NiK Nikham – 11:00 AM
Lunch by Great W'Kana Cafe – 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Cricket continues after the walk : Winning team gets Free Lunch Certificate from Aling's restaurant

Gold: $500 minimum donation

The money raised through CRY Walk 2011 will be utilized to partner child development projects in India and USA. We urge you to take a walk in the right direction!

Special Recognition Awards
We will be presenting two awards this year:
· For the individual/team that raises the most funds for the event.
· For the individual/team that has the most participants at the event by 9am.
· All registrants receive participation certificates
Notes:
· Online registration will close on Sep 16th @11:59pm.
· Attractive T-shirt for all participants registering before Sep 5th!
· We will have music and fun events at the walk site
· Families with strollers are welcome to participate in the Walk.
· Kids are encouraged to participate in a short fun walk!
· The event will take place irrespective of the weather conditions.
· There are no refunds, nor can you transfer registration to another individual.
