CRY America is CRY, Child Rights and You America Inc, a 501c3 non profit that works towards restoring to underprivileged children, especially Indian, their basic rights to survival, protection, development and participation. At CRY America, we believe in creating a peoples' movement to make a lasting change to children’s lives. We believe that each of us as individuals and organizations can make a difference. All it takes is the belief that “Change is possible, because I’ll make it possible”. CRY America’s strength lies in its supporters – our volunteers, donors and project partners who have come together to change the situation of underprivileged children.
Volunteers form the core of CRY America. They come from different walks of life – university students, professionals, housewives, people working in various companies. Volunteers work among their colleagues, friends, family and local communities to create awareness about the situation of underprivileged children and harness resources ….each contributing in whatever way they can.
The CRY Chicago Action Center was started in January 2005. We are a very diverse, passionate, motivated and fun-loving individuals who believe in this noble cause. Our volunteer base has been growing steadily and we have organized a variety of successful events since 2005! Volunteers at CRY Chicago attend a lot of community programs and events to spread awareness. We also raise funds through various campaigns, online and offline and the proceeds are sent to CRY America.
We would be immensely grateful if you too would lend your support. We believe that together, we can create a movement that can steadily, magically gather momentum and irrevocably change children’s lives forever!
Let’s stand up for what is right – Stand up for child rights!
