Welcome to Child Rights and You America, Inc.  – Alabama Action Center

Child Rights and You America, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization registered and established in USA.Child Rights and You America, Inc., (CRY), works for underprivileged children for their basic rights of survival, protection, development, and participation. At CRY America, we believe that each of us as individuals and organizations can make a difference. All it takes is the belief that “Change is possible, because I’ll make it possible”. CRY America’s strength lies in its supporters –volunteers, donors, and project partners who have come together to change the situation of underprivileged children.

Volunteers form the core of CRY America. They come from different walks of life such as professionals, housewives, high school students, business people, retired people, physicians, university students, and people working in government, educational institutions, and various companies. Volunteers work with their colleagues, friends, family, and local communities to create awareness about the situation of underprivileged children and harness resources ….each contributing in whatever way they can.

With the support of over 500 volunteers and 10,000 donors in US, CRY America has impacted the lives of over 280,000 children living across 1,762 urban, rural, and tribal communities in India and US. The cause “supporting children and their future” is toward making a secure future. And so is “us” (unselfish service) for making a secure future. Join “us” (unselfish service) and partner with Child Rights and You America, Inc. We show our collective love and support for children regardless of their gender, faith, class, caste, color, race, status, physical and mental ability, and any other conditions by way of participating or supporting our events.

Alabama Action Center is the 21st Action Center of Child Rights and You America, Inc. (CRY) among 32 other action centers in various states in US. Alabama Action Center has started an innovative initiative known as “WOSSAT” (Workshop of Science and SAT training). We share the values of diversity, unity, tolerance, human dignity, respect, trust, transparency, equality, accountability, and collective action.

United Nations defined its Charter of Child Rights. It specifies that every child has the right to Survival – i.e., life, health, nutrition, name, and nationality; Development – i.e., education, care, leisure, recreation; Protection – from exploitation, abuse, neglect; Participation – i.e., expression, information, thought, and religion. 193 countries ratified the convention.
